CORRIGIN
28-29 APRIL 2012
The Friends of Corrigin event is hosted by the Western Australian Off Road Racing Association and is held in town of Corrigin in the central wheatbelt, approximately 325km south east of Perth.
The event will consist of 5 laps of the approximately 40km circuit and will be conducted in 2 sections of continuous laps (section 1 = 2 laps, section 2 = 3 laps). The total competitive distance will be approximately 200km, the surface of which is dirt, sand, gravel, clay and rocky outcrop.
CORRIGIN 2011 CANCELLED!!!
Due to the record rainfall the shire of Corrigin has received this year, the farmers have decided to plant extra crop for a bumper season. With this in mind the farmers have requested that we do not race Corrigin this year and the WAORRA organising committee has agreed to cancel this event.
We would like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help out with this year’s race. Thanks to Craig, Scooter, Danni and Greg Smith for the trips already done to Corrigin this year.
Corrigin will be back on the race calendar next year… and has already been approved for the last weekend of April.
WAORRA Is currently trying to find an alternative venue to run this year in November… when this information comes to hand you will be notified so keep checking back for updates!
