ABOUT THE EVENT
The Hyden 400 is a dual status National Championship and State Championship Long Course Off Road Event, conducted at “Smithy’s Place”, Hyden, during Easter 2012.
The event consists of four sections (three only for WAORC competitors) over a varied course of dirt, sand, gravel, clay and rocky outcrop.
It is Round 1 of the Australian Championships and the State Championships.
Camping and amenities and food and beverages (including a licenced bar) available throughout the duration of the event. Camping is in an open paddock, with room for tents, caravans, trailers etc.
HOW TO GET THERE
The venue for the Hyden Humps is “Smithy’s Place”, approximately 340km south east of Perth.
Travel to Hyden via Brookton, Corrigin and Kondinin.
Go through Hyden and turn left onto Lovering Road (signposted "to Wave Rock"). Continue on this road for 25 kilometres.
Turn right (gravel road). Proceed along this road for about one kilometre. Turn right into the race course
